Old Foothill Rd Mission Hills Park

600 Junipero Street, Pleasanton, California 94566, United States

This park is a great example of a perfect neighborhood park. With two play structures at opposite ends, your child is sure to find something they want to play with. There are swings for big kids and kids to enjoy, and a huge metal slide. If you want to really enjoy it, you need to bring the cardboard to slide on. The play and picnic areas are nicely shaded, while the grassy areas in the middle are very sunny. The grassy area is well graded for easy game setup.

The best park in Pleasanton, maybe the tri-valley! Obviously, the giant slide is the highlight. My children spent a good 45 minutes riding it. The only downside to this place is the lack of toilets. Bring a potty seat if you've got toddlers!

2 Playgrounds & a giant slide that looks intimidating but is a lot of fun! Nice and clean. You've got to walk around the park to find that there's another play area on the opposite side. A lot of people get their dogs to run around and all the animals are pretty tame. Worth a visit because of the fun slide.

50-Foot Slide Reopens At Pleasanton's Mission Hills Park

The 50-foot Mission Hills Park slide has been renovated and re-opened to the public, the City of Pleasanton announced.

The 30-year-old slide became difficult to repair and maintain due to age, so the city began construction in September 2019. The slide is now five feet wide and can accommodate two children at a time.

The slide's drop is about 20 feet. Right now there's a "scramble wall" that looks like a low-pitched, horizontal rock climbing wall. Visit the Mission Hills Park slide (600 Junipero St.) from 6 a.m. to  9 p.m.
