Kelly-Moore Paints is a paint manufacturing company founded by William Kelly and William Moore in San Carlos, California, in 1946. It has stores in California, Texas, Oklahoma, and Nevada. Hurst, Texas is the only manufacturing plant in the country.

 

In 1946, William H. Kelly and William E. Moore recognized the unique needs of professional painting contractors for high-quality paint products and a knowledgeable, efficient service at a fair price. This philosophy has allowed Kelly-Moore to grow from a single manufacturing facility and store in San Carlos, California, to one of the largest employee-owned painting companies in the United States. Kelly-Moore has a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Hurst, Texas (outside of Dallas). In the industry, our reputation for quality products is unsurpassed. In 1998, Mr. and Mrs. William E. Moore set up the Kelly-Moore Paint Company Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP).
