The Downtown San Rafael Farmers Market

It's so fun! Every Thursday evening, I go there for fresh fruits and vegetables, but they have really good food trucks options that change every week. They always have music, games, dancing. This market has changed from its from its roots. Now it’s just a really cool place to be, and I am glad to see the community come together as one, and enjoy something this simple. Not a ton of farmers, but there is always plenty of food, and it is a really good time for the whole family! 

Love the people there they're always nice and polite the produce is great and I found the best honey I've been able to find anywhere in the Bay Area... the young lady who brings the honey there is quite nice, lets you taste the honey and there's a good variety of it. This place in general has great food and people. I have been coming here for years.  Don‘t forget to buy flowers from Alex. His flowers are amazing! 

Great place for a stroll, lots of fresh produce, meats, cheeses, seafood, bread. If what you are looking for is fresh seasonal food,  you can't go wrong here! With lots of vendors and lots of options, if what you’re looking for is natural foods, you will find it here. The vendors are all so helpful, and there are tons of free samples too! The outdoor food is also wonderful. Sometimes it can get busy,  but you can usually find parking somewhere in the civic center parking lots.
