Another nice little park in a little town that you can have all to yourself during the week early in the morning. Lookout in the evening and on weekends as this park is used heavily by the locals. They are oh so friendly, and this park with the deep shade, good maintenance, restrooms, kids playground, baseball field, and pool next door has something for everyone. For you and your dog, it is a good early morning stop where you can plan your day and enjoy the peaceful park.

It's a great dog park for two paradoxical reasons. Because its hours are limited to until 9 am, you can see the same people and dogs so a community has formed. And because it's open at one end, the dogs that come are typically better behaved and the humans mostly watch them more closely which means spotting them pooping and thus picking up after the dogs much more often.

This park allows dogs off-leash. It is fenced in on only 3 sides, but if your dog listens fairly well, this shouldn't be a problem. A big plus over the nearby Heather Farms dog park is that it is bigger and there is grass instead of mulch.

This amazing dog park is located near the following must-visit dog-friendly parks near Walnut Creek, California:

  • Heather Farm Dog Park
