The Hideout Kitchen & Cafe is a beautiful sanctuary for those who want to enjoy signature, soul-warming cuisine and genuine care.

Hidden behind another building, but it's a lovely outdoor area. They've got music playing, and the tables are well distanced. It's getting really hot, but they've got umbrellas to give some shade. They're no longer wearing hashbrowns, but instead they have tater tots. Their portions are also very generous. The staff are very accommodating and attentive. Come to the café as soon as the wait is longer as the day goes on. Park on the street or in their parking lot, it shouldn't be a challenge, either way. All operations are safe for COVID.

You can access the menu using your phone camera, which will take you to the browser link where the PDF version of the menu is available. Just know that there are different menus for drinks, dessert and brunch. It is a very new age way to share the menu virtually.

Please note that this restaurant is inside the square, hidden from the main road. Just enter the square, and you'll see a lot of parking, too. They're also open for outdoor dining, but packed on weekends.

It is a great breakfast/brunch in Lafayette. They are f amous for their Chicken & Waffles sandwich with egg, cheese, chicken fried steak and Churro waffle desert (chocolate & hand dipped strawberries). There is a Wine Tasting Room for parties and wine tasting rooms. The place isn't big, but it's very popular, so you might have to wait to get in.

The Hideout Kitchen is a very cute restaurant with plenty of seating throughout the area, and the open-air seating makes you feel like you're outdoors, but you're actually indoors. Brunch is highly recommended. The cutest restaurant-with a name that's definitely suited to it. This restaurant is tucked away in a small shopping center and food is the perfect home cooking comfort.
