Central Park is the largest multifunctional park in San Ramon, providing 35 acres of amenities including a skateboard area, tennis courts, soccer and baseball fields, a lit basketball court, a new playground, and hectares of open parkland lined with trees, lawns, picnic benches, and fountains. This park is big enough to make a city four times the size of San Ramon proud and has enough amenities.

Central Park has a new playground next to the Community Center, too. Children can slide down the colorful slides, climb the rock-climbing wall, and dig into the small sand patch for the remains of play fossils. The playground is perfect for children to play in, and have a good picnic for families. Children engage in various activities so it's also a relaxing place for parents. There is also a pool of water, where they can dance. It's a perfect place for children to party and play with their friends. Families are fantastic at carrying extra clothing for children to change after playing in the pool. If the weather becomes cooler, it's nice to have a cardigan or sweater on hand but always good. It’s absolutely a beautiful and spacious well-kept park with lots of activities for kids.

Each Memorial Day weekend, the annual San Ramon Art & Wind Festival takes place at Central Park, drawing huge crowds to kite-flying demonstrations, live entertainment, kids' zone, and art and craft booths.

In the summer, Central Park hosts a free concert series. Families bring blankets and picnic dinners to the park's amphitheater and enjoy bands ranging from jazzy blues to music of the 80s.

Central Park is also home to the San Ramon Community Center, which hosts conferences, classes, and the Lindsay Dirkx Brown Gallery. It’s a great venue for celebrating every special event. You can have a baby birthday party for your children. There are lots of tables and places.

This park is definitely a great place to play sports under the sun for all ages. There is something here for everyone. Toddlers can enjoy water play, and they have a more elaborate play structure for young children to entertain. Older children may hang out in the skate park or on the basketball court. Lots of picnic areas and fields. They have their own parking lot which makes it convenient for parking. Also, the place is well kept up, clean, maintained, and green grass. In case you want to stay longer, you can feel rest assured with their clean and convenient bathrooms.
