It is a suburb in the San Francisco Bay Area's East Bay region, approximately 28 miles (45 km) east of San Francisco. Alamo is located halfway between the cities of Walnut Creek and Danville. The population was 14,750 according to the 2010 census. Alamo is recognized for its pastoral country feel, notable residents, and rich lifestyle, with the median home sold price in February 2022 being $3,010,000.
Alamo was founded in 1846 by John D. Sloat, and it was originally named after the Spanish mission that was located in the area. The town was later renamed Alamo after the Mexican-American War. Round Hill Country Club | 3169 Roundhill Rd, Alamo, CA 94507, United States
Round Hill Country Club was established in 1959 as a golf course and luxury residential enclave. In the fall of 1960, the Clubhouse, Tennis Facility, and Pool opened, followed by the Clubhouse, Tennis Facility, and Pool in 1961.
Round Hill Country Club's 48,000-square-foot Clubhouse opened in August 1996, providing the ideal venue for entertaining family, guests, and clients. In 2017-2018, the Clubhouse was refurbished, bringing the already fantastic facilities up to resort-level standards.
The lounge rooms were refurbished and expanded, and the dining facilities were reinvented with more outside and casual eating alternatives. The Fitness Center expanded with the installation of a Studio for classes and Personal Training, as well as the addition of numerous new cardio machines.

On January 17, 1991, founding Pastors Doug Heisel and Crystal Heisel held their first Sunday gathering at the Crow Canyon Cinemas in San Ramon, California. While serving as associate pastors at another Bay Area church, the idea of building a house for the unchurched was placed on Doug and Crystal's hearts. New Life would begin envisioning and planning for the future of the church two years before their first gathering. They sold their house, relocated across the county, withdrew their children from a private school, and converted their home into a church office.
For the following four years, the church would gather in the Crow Canyon Cinema Theatres. They grew so quickly during that period that they needed to find a larger space. In the fifth year, God performed a miracle for New Life Church by connecting them with a church in Alamo, California that had a paid-off building and was looking for senior leadership. "Could we do more together than apart?" the two churches wondered in response to the circumstance. " The congregations voted overwhelmingly in favor of merging into one church. New Life Church's first permanent location appeared out of nowhere. New Life was able to flourish and continue their objective to reach the San Francisco Bay Area for Christ as a result of this miracle.
